Sonja thought her due date was July 11. The baby was measuring for July 11. Sonja’s previous babies both came early- one even came a whopping (not good) 10 weeks early. (Here you can see that his early arrival doesn’t slow him down now!)
So when July 11 came and went…. and then some, Sonja was feeling very done. At least that’s what she said. To everyone else she seemed impressively patient and even cool as the summer finally arrived in New England.
Ten days later the amazing Sabina arrived after a… wait for it… 1 hour and 15 minute birth process! – all vernix covered and looking like she was right on time. I am so excited that Sonja has a girl (a surprise) to balance male contingent in her family.
And a yawn…
