I’m very excited to “crack open” Brown Eyed Photography’s most interesting contest yet: an Easter Egg Hunt!
Here’s how it works: tucked away throughout the website are little egg-pictures like this:

Your job is to find them all! How many? A dozen, of course. (And yes, the one above is your first egg!) When you find an egg, click on it to enlarge the image, and underneath the picture find the number and name of that egg. Write it down, or do your hunting in a separate browser window, because after you find the name of the egg, put it in your “basket” – the entry form below – and once you’ve found all 12, submit your answers to me. You have until Easter to find them!

What goodies are in store for the happy hunters? Everyone who fills their basket will be entered into a drawing for some sweet rewards:

Grand-prize mother-of-all-chocolate-bunnies: Photo session* with 16×20 canvas wrap
Second-place (x2) pair of yellow-sugar Peeps™: $75 gift certificate and 20×20 lustre print

What’s a senior rep?

A senior rep is an outgoing, motivated, friendly member of the class of 2011 who will help get the word out about Brown Eyed Photography to their classmates by sharing how fun their experience was during their senior session. In exchange reps receive a FREE senior session, rep cards featuring pictures of you and Brown Eyed Photography contact info, and fun bonuses for every person that brings one of your rep cards to their senior session.

Oh- the friend you referred that brings in the card? They get 8 free wallets!

How do you get the word out?

The more you can promote me on your facebook and other social media, the better! You’ll receive several photos from our session with a logo on it that you can use as your profile pic as often as possible. I’ll also give you a limited supply of rep cards featuring pictures from our session to give to your family so they can help spread the word too! You can also hand these rep cards out at school to all of your senior friends.

Fine print:

All senior sessions must be completed by May of the Junior Year. Parents or legal guardians of the senior must sign a model release, allowing us to use your images for advertising purposes. A valid rep card must be presented by a referred student in order to receive any credits toward bonuses. Bonuses will only be issued when a referred senior’s session is complete and all fees are paid in a timely manner by the referred senior. Positions are limited so act fast if you’re interested!

Baby Frankie is smiling like crazy at 3 months old! Frankie’s fabulous family met up with me on the first decent weekend where we could take advantage of the crazy awesome foliage and capture the family of three. We wanted some captures of the 3 month old version of Frankie and some family time for some holiday cards.

For those wondering: there are sessions available. They’re filling up and I wanted to remind you to contact me to book soon to ensure a spot!

Mini Session dates!!

The first two sessions are scheduled to take advantage of fall foliage. They will take place October 14th in the afternoon at Warwick City Park and October 15th in the morning on Blackstone Blvd in Providence.

The last two sessions are scheduled to take advantage of holiday decorations and are December 5th on Benefit St. in Providence and December 6th at Slater Park in Pawtucket.

Mini Sessions last 30 minutes, are $70 and include a set of (24) holiday cards OR a $30 print credit.

These are booking fast (facebook fans were given details a couple days ago and have already started booking their sessions) so be sure to contact me as soon as you know what session day you are interested in so I can let you know what times are still available.

This cooler weather has me thinking about the holiday season. Crazy that it’s that time already. I have been having so much fun designing cards for this year!

There is another set of mini-sessions in the works designed to include a set of (24) holiday cards. Dates and locations are still being worked out but there will be one set in October to take advantage of fall foliage and one set after Thanksgiving to incorporate holiday decorations.

Facebook fans will be notified 48-hours before the blog is updated with the times and locations for the mini-shoots to give fans a head start in scheduling their sessions. These sessions will fill up fast, so book as soon as you can.

For those interested in full sessions, these are available throughout the fall but be aware that half of the available weekend sessions are already booked.
