This weather is hit-or-miss…

…and we got a miss!

Remember waaaay back in December when there was a drawing for a photo session and 8×10 for anyone who signed up to receive the Brown Eyed Photography newsletter?
Well! Caitlin, the prize winner, has been waiting out the weather for something warmer before taking advantage of her photo session with her family. While crisp snowy images sounded appealing… a less-than-two-year-old-who-hates-wearing-mittens was not sounding appealing to Caitlin.
And it’s spring now, right?
So we scheduled a session for a bright sunny weekend morning….

…and it was f.r.e.e.z.i.n.g. Note the adorable coat wearing family of three.
True, it was sunny.
Deceptive.
Because it was also incredibly windy.

The cold/windy factor was hurting my bare hands and poor almost-two-year-old Madeleine was feeling the cold too… and not appreciating it. We made a quick decision to re-schedule for a warmer day.
Caitlin and her husband, Christian, chose this beautiful park to have their photo session and I can’t wait to go back for part II.

Thank you Caitlin, Christian, and Madeleine for a speedy photo session at this wonderful location. I am very excited about meeting you there again for round two.
