So exciting for Desiree and Josh, big sister Khylear and Big Brother Rowan!! And exciting for baby Tatum to be part of this love-filled family with enamored siblings and parents.

Baby Tatum was just 4 days old and she was so adept at holding her head up!

Baby Frankie is 1!!

Teeny baby Frankie has turned into a walking toddler! Hard to believe he’s one and his First Year photo sessions are wrapped up!! Sheba and John have taken to this parenting thing like a a bee to flowers. I’ve enjoyed watching the growing of Frankie over the last year but also of Sheba and John in their new role.

and a not so successful cake smash…. what’s up with these babies not being excited about cake?

Wow! Congrats Sheba and John (and the rest of your extended family!) for this milestone. He’s as adorable as ever and continues to amaze!

Sweet Baby Peter in Providence, RI

Peter has some very dedicated parents that waited patiently for him to arrive… actually until he did arrive he was “it”. I know there was a girl name picked out too (I don’t think Matt and Jen would have gotten away without it – everyone (including me!) was predicting girl. Now that Peter is here – well, he’s perfect and his family is in love!
You can see why:

and this cradle is the same one Matt, Peter’s dad, slept in as well as numerous other relatives and it was made by his grandfather. So cool to see Peter in this cradle– which at 5 days old he’s loving!

I’m told Peter has to get his use out of it quick because there’s another relative arriving sometime at the end of the month! Very exciting!

Congratulations again, Matt and Jen! It will be exciting to see which features look more like Matt or more like Jen as he grows up.

Baby-brother-or-sister is here!

Dylan told me that his momma was helping baby-brother-or-sister. That was my first clue that this baby’s gender was a surprise.
Baby Cooper arrived after 32 hours of labor and the whole family is proud of their new addition… who fits right in!

Cooper is a big big fan of sucking on his hands and he is very very successful in his managing to get his hand to his mouth!

I love how everyone had a chance to have individual time with Cooper. Dylan was a very impressive big brother holding his brother securely next to him.

Congratulations Danielle, Jerry, and Dylan on the new boy in the house! He’s perfect!!

Rainy Day with Juliya

It was a very blustery rainy day this weekend but made brighter by Juliya’s baby babble and ready smile. I was sad to miss out on an opportunity to shoot on a wharf right at the end of Juliya’s street… something to look forward to at a later date.

In addition to Juliya’s overall friendliness, her parents are rockin’ with their baby dress sense!

not all smiles…. these two shots are within moments of each other!

Juliya’s parents were also so cute because they couldn’t take their eyes off their daughter.

Can’t wait to work with you all again! I hope Juliya is as chatty as ever next time I see her.

Smiley Frankie at 6 months

Teeny tiny Frankie grew up to have a smile ready for his parents and now has an even bigger ever-ready grin! I could not believe how much Frankie has grown between 3 months and now! His parents are so crazy about him, it’s very very adorable. And to be fair, he’s really hard to resist!

and his mom brought in this blanket that Frankie LOVES! I have never seen a baby so excited about an item. He was attempting to shove the whole thing in his mouth. His very talented great grandmother made this blanket for him. Love it!

I can’t wait to see you, Frankie (and your parents too!) for your 9 month pictures! I’m excited to see how you change and grow over the next three months – and how you don’t!

Baby Julia is here!

Enjoyable afternoon spent capturing this new arrival. To be honest a lot of the time I spent chatting with Katie, Julia’s mom. Katie is a super put together, confident, self assured, mellow first time mom.
I’m impressed.
Yes, she has questions, moments of doubt, and forgets to eat at times, but she’s also so naturally a mom. It’s amazing.
And her daughter is pretty fantastic too. She wanted to stay up and hear all of our chatting. We had to figure out silence would help the poor baby fall asleep. Between waking and sleeping we captured the amazing 8 day old Julia:

Congratulations Katie and Darren. I love that you spend time watching Julia’s face trying to figure out if it’s the “I’m full!” face or the “I’m hungry!” face. Julia is lucky to have such interested parents.

Baby Morgan in snowy Vermont

The adorable Morgan with her big eyes made the trek up to Vermont to see her mama’s family for the holidays and was so very kind to take some time out to come and do her 9 month pictures, inviting her parents to join the photo shoot this time. I’m so glad she did!

I should confess- her parents, particularly her mom, who claim to be not so photogenic… well, they were having such a good time that I couldn’t resist capturing some family action. In fact, there are way fewer Morgan proofs than family proofs. Morgan is moving and grooving and very into hanging out with her parents (unless an older kid is around to distract…) so why not include the family love?

… and some family fun too!

Love having the ongoing excuse to get together with you Morgan. Next time I see you you’ll be a year!! Hard to believe.

Triple Trouble in Southern Mass?

I’ve heard of double trouble.
So maybe when you add one more to the mix it’s triple trouble?
Really, these three – yes three!! – babies were anything but trouble.
At 6 months they already have such individual personalities and it.is.adorable!

The two “bookends”- those are two different babies. And then they have a non identical brother who there very sweet mom, Karen, tends to put in the middle for pictures. Helps keep straight who is who.
Another trick is to put ankle bracelets on the boys, see Nathan’s on his ankle? The other two boys lost their ankle bracelets somewhere along the way before I arrived with camera in hand.

They are working on rolling and sitting and maybe even moving that could be considered crawling. Busy busy days ahead for these babies and their parents!

I loved meeting Karen, her mother-in-law, and her three perfect babies!
