Mark explained that Kristen was stressing about wedding planning so he devised a way to save her time … write MarKristen instead of Mark and Kristen.
The day before Kristen and Mark’s wedding there was a crazy downpour. You might remember it because if you’re like me, you’d forgotten what a downpour was after our dry summer.
I was a little nervous. Kristen was
freaking out very calm and was remembering that rain on your wedding day was good luck. Or maybe that’s just what people tell brides who have a rainy wedding day. Because good luck or not, Kristen was incredibly relieved not surprised when their day included warm sunny fall weather, bright blue skies, and vivid fall colors.
We had a ton of fun hanging out with Mark and Kristen who we kept just saying: “they’re just so NICE”. I know everyone is nice – okay, well not everyone EVERYONE – but everyone we work with is nice … but for some reason the MarKristen combo was above and beyond and we couldn’t come up with a more descriptive word.
So as I’m going through their pictures trying to decide what to blog … I’m loving re-living their perfect day. And I’m getting to impatient not to share at least a little bit! So here’s a few of Kristen and Mark after the guests left Saint Mike’s and headed to The Essex for their reception. It is always fun to have some time to hang out with the newly married couple …. and Kristen and Mark were no exception!
Now to work on blogging the rest of Kristen and Mark’s fall wedding at Saint Michael’s College and The Essex in Vermont.
