Kristine and Barry meet Summer ’09

I think the very first summery day of the year was Saturday… the day I met up with Kristine and Barry at their adorable house for engagement pictures. It was so enjoyable to hang out with this fun couple early on a Saturday morning. We chatted about the wedding (of course), a crazy pumpkin plant that is huge in their front lawn and a result of a discarded Halloween pumpkin, and gardening… a wide range of interesting topics!

I’m hearing very positive feedback from engagement sessions. Most All couples say that they really don’t like having their picture taken… and then about half way through the session say that they are feeling super at ease on that side of the camera and… actually enjoying themselves. I love having this relaxed time to get to know the couple a little more and “practice” for all of us- before the big day.

Anyway… enough talking- on to pictures… after all, that’s why you’re here, right?

… and with Kristine’s birthday-present-rocking-chair. When Kristine suggested using the rocking chair that is sitting on a side porch, I was thrilled. If it comes up missing one day… it’s not here, honest!

Thank you, Kristine and Barry for spending time doing pictures Saturday. I loved spending time with you and I am very excited about the unique ideas you have for your wedding. See you in October!
